These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at votealba.org (“the Site”), operated by the Alba Continuation Group (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About the Alba Continuation Group
The Alba Continuation Group is an informal group of serving National Executive Committee (NEC) members of the Alba Party. This website is operated independently and does not represent the official position of the Alba Party or its leadership. The views expressed on this site are those of the Alba Continuation Group and its supporters.
2. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You must not use the Site in any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation, or in any way that is fraudulent or harmful.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, the server on which the Site is hosted, or any other server, computer, or database connected to the Site. You must not attack the Site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack.
3. User-Submitted Content
3.1 Declarations
By submitting a declaration, you confirm that the information you provide (name, town, country) is accurate and that you are submitting it voluntarily. If you upload a photograph, you confirm that you own the rights to the image or have permission to use it, and that you consent to it being displayed publicly on the Site after moderation approval.
3.2 Pledges
A pledge submitted through this site is a non-binding expression of intent. It does not constitute a donation, a contract, or a legally enforceable commitment. No payment will be taken through this site. If and when a compliant donation mechanism is established in accordance with Electoral Commission regulations, you will be contacted separately and given the opportunity to fulfil, modify, or withdraw your pledge.
3.3 Content Standards
All content you submit must be accurate (where it states facts), genuinely held (where it states opinions), and must not contain material that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, inflammatory, or promotes violence. Content that violates these standards will be rejected during moderation and may be removed without notice.
3.4 Moderation
We reserve the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any user-submitted content at our sole discretion. Content is moderated before publication and may also be removed after publication if it is found to breach these Terms.
4. Intellectual Property
The content, design, layout, and graphics on this Site are owned by or licensed to the Alba Continuation Group, unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our prior written permission.
By submitting content (including photographs) to this Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the operation of the Site and the Alba Continuation Group’s campaign activities. You retain ownership of your content and may request its removal at any time.

7. Electoral Compliance
The Alba Continuation Group operates in compliance with the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 (PPERA) and Electoral Commission regulations. No donations are solicited or accepted through this Site. Pledges are non-binding expressions of intent only. Any future donation mechanism will be established in full compliance with applicable electoral law, including permissibility checks on all donors.
